Ray Ellingsen

Ray Ellingsen began his film career in 1987 as a writer. He has since gone on to pursue numerous other aspects of filmmaking including directing, producing, and supervising post production of feature films, documentaries, and commercial work.

In 1999 Ray helped to form Ugly Old Bird Productions, a motion picture entertainment company which produced a number of film and video projects during its five years of doing business.

In 2005 Ray moved to Arizona to manage the Hollywood-Phoenix Film Studios, the largest motion picture film studio in the state of Arizona. In the year he ran the facility Ray negoitiated and brought in three feature films, numerous commercials, and Hidden Palms, a television series for the CW Network to the studios for production. Ray left the studio and moved back to Los Angeles to pursue his career in film making.

To date, Ray has written and directed two documentaries and a feature film as well as a multitude of commercial and industrial format projects. In addition, he has produced nine feature films and over 30 video and commercial projects and is currently in development on two separate feature film projects.

Jean Luc Martin

Jean-Luc has been active in the entertainment industry for over two decades. He began his career in 1986 as a multi-talented performer with Cirque du Soleil. With Cirque du Soleil he performed in three touring shows in North America and Europe, most notably, "Alegria" where he created and performed the role of "The Ugly Old Bird". After “Alegria”, Jean-Luc turned to Hollywood and gained employment almost immediately as an actor/stuntman appearing in over thirty studio and independent productions and over twenty national commercials.                     

Utilizing his years of on-set experience, Jean-Luc made the transition from Talent to Producer, Line Producer, and Unit Production Manager. To date Jean-Luc has produced over 17 video programs and 9 feature films. Included in his credits, Jean-Luc Produced / Line Produced, “Now You Know” (Jeremy Sisto, Jeff Henderson), Line Produced “Mexican Blow”, Produced, Co-Created and Line Produced the 1973 period feature film “The Rain Makers" (Jake Busey, Ray Wise), Produced and Line Produced the award winning film “Red Ridge”, Produced and Line Produced “Pineapple” (Lee Tergesen, Skye McCole Bartusiak). In Sept of 2007, the indie feature film, “Red Ridge,” produced by Jean-Luc Martin was awarded the Grand Jury Award for Best Feature Film and Grand Jury Award for Best Director at the NYIIFV Festival.

Mike Minkler

Michael Minkler is a three time Academy Award winning Sound Re-recording Mixer who has mixed over 200 motion pictures over the last four decades. He was awarded the Oscar for BLACKHAWK DOWN, CHICAGO, and DREAMGIRLS as well as many other awards including the Career Achievement Award from the Cinema Audio Society.

Mike is a Hollywood native and the family’s third generation sound professional. His father Donald was an owner /operator of his own independent post production sound facility, Producers Sound Service. His grandfather Darrell was a pioneer in the field of sound recording for both films and records as well as part owner of the Hollywood landmark Radio Records. His uncle Bob won the Sound Mixing Oscar for STAR WARS.

It is fair to say that Mike has collaborated with most of Hollywood’s elite directors dating back to the 70’s.

He is currently the lead mixer at the world renowned Todd AO Studios in Hollywood.

Prior to his involvement in the entertainment industry, Mr. Weber had extensive experience in real estate and with Fortune 500 companies. He was a Senior Vice President of Sonnenblick-Goldman Corporation of California (1974 to 1977), as well as being employed in an executive capacity by other real estate development and syndication companies. (1972 to 1974) Before relocating to Los Angeles, Mr. Weber worked for the Celanese Corporation (1968 to 1972) and General Motors Overseas Operations (1965 to 1968) in New York City.

Mr. Weber is a member of The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences and The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Mr. Weber is a graduate of Manhattan College; where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University. He is married and has four children.

Mr. Weber is also very active in various industry and non-profit organizations, including serving as a Member of the Board for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, The Betty Clooney Foundation for the Brain Injured, Park Century School, Westview School and Crossroads School.
