Moving Pictures Media Group‘s Multimedia Rights Division takes words and ideas from film, into books, graphic novels, games, software, music, art, interactive media and more. This is becoming more essential with the creative process and business models of film industries are being refined almost daily as new technologies are used to develop, produce, finance, distribute and market film productions.

It is a prevalent belief that the business of making films has become as important than the actual film itself. Yet the coming together of 'art', 'culture' and 'enterprise' is arguably common to cinematographic productions worldwide. The boundaries between these three notions have become increasingly blurred, to such an extent that the position of filmmaker as creator and entrepreneur has strengthened.

MPMG‘s Multimedia Rights Division monitors the impact of these technology-based changes and what has become most apparent is film‘s most traditional market, the cinema, is going through its own profound transformation. We see the continuous merging and crossing over of story and visual art content as a 'medium' for the various creative departments to work together to enhance the film's development and pre-production process.

This creative integration allows the storyboarding, concept art, character design, illustration, animation and matte painting to cross into different forms of entertainment, saving time and money for productions, while fulfilling the different needs and procedures of various creative outlets, even before committing them to film, tape, or digital video. Interactive media, social networking, and computer games have transitioned as well, and now compete creatively in most major markets for entertainment consumers.
